Click Counter
A simple online tally counter — click, tap or press a key to count. Your total is saved automatically.
Your count is saved in this browser, so it's still here if you refresh or come back later.
A click counter (or tally counter) is a digital version of the handheld clicker used to count reps, laps, people or inventory. Click, tap or press a key to add to the total — it's saved in your browser, so it survives a refresh. No download and no sign-up.
How the click counter works
Tap or click the big number to add your step (1, 2, 5 or 10) — or focus it and press Space or Enter for hands-free counting. Use the minus button to correct a miscount and Reset to start over. The current total and step are remembered on this device automatically.
Counter vs click speed test
This is a manual tally with no timer — count at your own pace. If you want to measure how fast you can click instead, that's a different tool: the click speed test counts your clicks per second against a countdown, and the spacebar speed test does the same for your keyboard.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use the click counter?
Click or tap the big number to add to your count — or focus it and press Space or Enter. Use the −step button to subtract, Reset to zero it, and the step selector to count up in 1s, 2s, 5s or 10s.
Does the click counter save my count?
Yes. Your count and step are saved in your browser, so they're still there if you refresh the page or come back later. It's stored only on this device — nothing is uploaded.
What's the difference between a click counter and a CPS test?
A click counter is a manual tally with no timer — you count things at your own pace (reps, laps, people, inventory). A CPS test measures how many clicks per second you can do against a countdown. If speed is what you want, try the click speed test instead.
Can I count with the keyboard?
Yes. Click the counter once to focus it, then press Space or Enter to add each count. That keeps your hand off the mouse for fast, comfortable tallying.
What can I use an online tally counter for?
Anything you'd use a handheld clicker for: counting reps or sets at the gym, laps, attendance or headcounts, stock and inventory, knitting or crochet rows, event entries, or tallying scores.
