Click to start

A click speed test measures how many times you can click per second, known as CPS. The average person scores about 6–7 CPS; 8 or more is fast and 10+ is elite. Click the pad as fast as you can for the chosen time and KLKK times it to the millisecond.

What is a click speed test?

A click speed test measures how many times you can click your mouse in a set amount of time. Your score is your CPS — clicks per second — the total clicks divided by the length of the test. KLKK times every run with a high-resolution clock, so what you see is exactly how fast you clicked.

What is a good CPS?

The average clicker lands around 6–7 CPS in a standard test. Break 8 and you're faster than most people. Sustained 10+ CPS is elite territory for normal clicking — beyond that, players switch to techniques like jitter and butterfly clicking to push the number higher.

How to click faster

Rest your hand, use your whole finger rather than just the tip, and keep a light, quick rhythm instead of hammering. Warm up first — your last run is usually faster than your first. When you plateau, try the jitter or butterfly technique to break past your normal ceiling.

The average score in this mode is around 6 CPS. Beat it, then try to break your own best.

Frequently asked questions

How is my CPS calculated?

CPS is your total clicks divided by the exact elapsed time, measured with performance.now() for millisecond accuracy. The timer starts on your first click, not before.

Does the timer start before I click?

No. The clock starts the instant you make your first click and runs for exactly the duration you picked. There's no wasted time reacting to a countdown.

What's the world record for CPS?

Recorded standard-clicking runs sit around 14+ CPS over short bursts; with techniques like drag clicking the raw counts go much higher. Over a full 10 seconds, anything above 12 CPS is exceptional.
